Job Summary

We are searching for entrepreneurial candidates from all disciplines to be engaged as General Manager. This is the entry description for all candidates with 20 - 30 years post NYSC exposure; irrespective of educational discipline. The organization consists of value-adding companies with diverse interests and offers an enviable career pathway. Successful candidates will play operational, administrative and management roles in scaling up a tech-business, but e-commerce inclined. Candidates will upon confirmation assume roles commensurate with their qualification and competencies. In the interim, they will be assigned to operate in operational sites within their vicinity in Lagos State region.

Job Description:
  • They will be responsible for executing marketing and sales strategies, prospecting for customers, and implementing programs to achieve profitable sales and business growth
  • Reinforce the marketing, sales, administrative and operational capability of the organization through mobilisation for seminars, training and support team members to prospect for Operators in the value chain.
  • Reinforce the execution, monitoring of the company’s business development, market penetration strategies and operating plans for enhancing business growth and operational efficiency
  • Assume full responsibility to manage deals by navigating the customers through all facets of the sales process; prepare periodic marketing reports on targets and achievements for management.
  • Reinforce the recruitment and training of Staff and Representatives, evaluate team members, review, and improve systems, and procedures; and ensure adequate manpower for smooth business operation.
  • Reinforce and maintain an Internal Process Discipline and alignment within the business
  • Strengthen, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Planning, scheduling, and promoting operational events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions; and carry out other functions as may be assigned.
Required Skills:
  • Good communication, interpersonal, marketing and administrative skills
  • Skill to work in a target-oriented environment to achieve sales target
  • Skill for a collaborative approach to problem solving and industrious
  • Resourceful with high attention to details and strong analytical skills.
Required Qualification and Exposure:
  • Bachelor Degree with professional certification, but Higher Degree will be an advantage
  • Graduates with 20 - 30 years post NYSC exposure in whatever educational discipline.
  • Relevant experience will count at the point of assigning duties and responsibilities
Remuneration Structure:
  • Probation Period is 0 – 12 months; and attracts abridged Monthly Salary and Commission.
Job Confirmation is based on sales target and attracts full Salary, Allowance and other Benefits:
  • 16 – 20 years: GM I: N160 000 pm: confirmed in Assistant Director Cadre: min. N500 000 pm.
  • 21 – 25 years: GM II: N250 000 pm: confirmed in Deputy Director Cadre: min. N800 000 pm.
  • 26 – 30 years: GM III: N400 000 pm: confirmed in Full Directorship Cadre: min. N1 200 000 pm.
