Head Unit -MICRO FINANCE BANK

The Unit Head will direct, coordinate financial activities of workers in the bank branch, or department.

Job Title: Unit Head

Location Needed: Lagos-Lagos Island, Ikeja, Mushin, Aspanda, Oshodi, Ikorodu.

Key responsibilities

Approve credit facilities as per the guidelines and instructions.
Make awareness among team members to support the completion of the loan application and collation of supporting documents/ materials.
Report team feedback to respective Managers
Deploy team members to promote Bank credit services in the community, raise program awareness, and build networks and relationships within the local community.
Supervise and monitor loan repayments of all facilities granted through the team in the Branch.
Supervise and follow up loan’s arrears of the assigned team.
Supervise and actively engage in the recovery process where necessary.
Monitor the collection of rentals in the field, providing receipts for payments made, banking rentals within the agreed time frame.
Participate as an active member of the overall branch team.
Provide business plans to the management
Monitor competitor activities in the area and report to superiors.
Safeguard the confidentiality of all information pertaining to the Bank and the Organization obtained externally or internally during employment and refrain from divulging same to any third party.

Requirement

Bachelor’s in accountancy/Business Administration; Master's degree preferred
4 years and above experience in compliance in audit process and regulatory requirement.
Accurate and precise attention to detail
Excellent computer skills; experience in financial software, Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional knowledge of banking, finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cost control principles.
Ability to manage employees, while multitasking large projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
